Where are you from? How did you make it to Jackson? I am from Livingston, Montana. My husband and I moved to Teton Valley 12 years ago from Bozeman because we love it there and wanted to raise our son in a smaller town.

What do you do for work? I am the Executive Assistant for JH Fire/EMS.

What do you do in your free time? I love to cook!  My family also loves hiking, floating the rivers, camping, and just being outdoors with my dogs and family.

How long have you been a part of JH Fire/EMS? Ten years.

What made you want to join? I loved the idea of working for a fire department and thought it would be a great place to work.

What are your future goals in the department? I just want to be able to listen to everyone and give help when they need it.

Favorite part of your job? Getting to know all of the members – paid and volunteer.

What would you say is the most challenging? When everyone needs something all at once!

What advice would you give new recruits? Be nice to the admin staff 😉

What is the most valuable skill or trait for someone to have in the department? Compassion, resilience, and a willingness to learn.

What do you think you bring to the department? I hope I bring a good attitude and a willingness to help.

Who is your mentor? I look up to everyone in Jackson Hole Fire/EMS!
